A solo show with actor/performer Evandro Manchini, a long time partner. Based on Fernando Pessoa's poems (First Faust), this show uses dance-theatre, sound poetry, video mapping and surround sound to present Henry Faust's downward spiral.
The project's video can be watched here:
The video art we did in the creative process can be found at VIDEOMAKER section:
AS COISAS NÃO SÃO O QUE PARECEM
'Things are not what they seem'
This was a solo performance done in the ArtCena Festival in Rio.
Short video here:
This was my first partnership with Jaime Rodrigues. I was credited as 'anti-direction'. We used wiimotes, arduino, surround sound and interactive video with circus performers.
The performers were: Bruno Carneiro, Mia Ferreira, Júlia Franca (replaced by Laura Faleiros), Alexandre Sr. Palhaço and invited actress Maria Júlia Garcia.
Compositions were made by Daniel Gonzaga, and Max/Msp programming was done in collaboration with Alexandre Bräutigam.

HOJE A GENTE É UM POUCO DISSO
'Today we are a bit like this'
This show was created with the performer Paula Sofia. It is about the feminine in the XXI century. It was a mix of installation, performance and theatre (maybe performise, as Patrice Pavis put it). Each scene was put up into a different setting at 'Parque das Ruínas' in Rio de Janeiro.

A VIDA EM 4 TEMPOS
'Life in 4 Acts'
This play and it's music were writen by me and represents lifes in four different stages. I was experimenting narrative fiction were the few words (when they are present) have more rhythmic and sonorous presence than a semantic function.
The actors were Gabriela Bonomo, Dinorah Novaes, Fernanda Velloso, Carla Guidacci, Pedro Monteiro and Léo Campos.
FORA DA MÁQUINA DE LAVAR
'Out of the Washing Machine'
I shared the direction of this project with my dear friend Jaime Rodrigues continuing our research on Scene and Digital Technology. With the text writen by Juliana Pamplona, the actors were Maíra Kesten, Laura Limp, Carol Nemetala, Marcela Moura, Evandro Manchini, Daniel Uryon, Bruno Carneiro and Adriano Garib (on video).
I played keyboards live. The band was: Alexandre Bräutigam (who also composed part of the soundtrack) on bass, Marcelo Teixeira on drums and Carlos Eduardo Soares on the guitar.
A short video can be found here:
For this performatic reading of the text os the Argentinian contemporary author Beatriz Catani, I acted as a sound performer.
It was the TEMPO Festival in Rio and I had the pleasure and honour to work with three of the most acclaimed actors in Brazil: Guilherme Leme (who directed) and icons Vera Holtz and Luís Melo.

O QUE BROTA DO CONCRETO
'What sprouts from concrete'
This show was built departing from the performers bios. I was seeking then a kind of spontaneity in acting but with a kind of more fixed frame. To draw poetic force from non-narrative personal statements and situations. Also we made extensive use of technological resources such as live video, cell phones, etc.
The performers were Paula Sofia (replaced later by Virgina Martins), Luciana Palhares, Evandro Manchini, Rossini Viana, Bruno Guerra and I.
Thanks to Felippe de Rosenburg for hosting us at the space.

ANTES QUE O NATAL SE APAGUE
'Before Christmas Fades'
I was invited to direct this production with the Usina Cultural, a cultural centre at Nova Friburgo, in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
Elizabeth Maldonado, the director of the centre, made a huge effort to build this production with me. Gabriela Bonomo was assistant director. We then formed a team to organize this huge production. The other directors who worked with me were: Daniela Santi (Acting), Maria Vidal (movement), Suzana Teixeira and Philip Gutwein (sound choir) and Rose Borges (set designing).
The more than 30 actors on stage were theatre students from Usina Cultural.
The text was writen by Julia Spadaccini and the leading cast was: Onaldo Brancante, Cacá Ottoni, Luíza Ventura, Luciano Santos, Cyomara de Paula, Gero Band, Léo Gama, MM Espínola, Gabriela Bonomo and Bruno Guerra.
The music I wrote for this play was performed live by constant partner Márcio Loureiro (guitars), Bruno Novaes (bass) and André Coscarelli (drums).
O JOGO DOS CINCO SINOS
'The Game of the Five Bells'
This strange and small project was written and directed by me and the collaborative process was build with actresses/performers Gabriela Bonomo and Mariana Moreno.
Four actresses performing with music and theatre. This was a group I created with Gabriela Bonomo, Deborah Wood, Julia Fajardo (soon replaced by Michele Boesche) and Tatiana Pérez (after some time replaced by Bruna Savaget).
Later formations include Dinorah Novaes, Cláudia Benevides, Camilla Farias and Julia Decacche.
At the time of the videos bellow, the performers were:
Gabriela Bonomo, Deborah Wood, Michelle Boesche and Bruna Savaget, though My Day has been created with the collaboration of Tatiana Pérez.
Meu Dia (My Day)
NO PRÓXIMO SÁBADO CHEGAREMOS AO FIM DO JOGO
'Next Saturday We'll Reach the End of the Game'
I co-directed for this play with my old time friend Thales Coutinho and also composed the music. Based on texts by Iremar Brito, the actors were: Lisa Brito, Paula Sofia, Tatiana Caltabiano, Fábio D'Arrochela, Rodrigo Jubé and Iano Salomão.
